Over 17 years experience in aged care (Residential, Home Care, and Transitional care), including IPC, governance, complaints, quality, and compliance roles. Roles including extensive experience in aged care complaints with the Department of Health, and senior clinical and governance consulting for large, multi-facility and service aged care providers.


Luci is passionate about creating mechanisms for collecting and using care, clinical, and governance data to develop systems and processes to address provider need, achieve and maintain quality outcomes for consumers and reduce the impact of industry changes on the workforce.

Ellie Golling

Infection Prevention and Control Consultant

Ellie is a Registered Nurse and has worked in the field of infection prevention and control in hospital, residential and community aged care, and the pre-hospital emergency care settings (ambulance service). Ellie has overseen and been responsible for the development and promotion of infection prevention and control standards and training across these varied settings. Awarded the first GAMA Healthcare scholarship in Australia, Ellie completed her Master of Infection Prevention and Control with Griffith University in 2022.


Ellie was awarded for achieving a High Distinction in her degree, and has had research published in the Australasian Emergency Care Journal.

ABOUT US

Ellie and Luci work both collaboratively and as individual consultants, based on organisational need and consultant experience.

Collaborative Work

Ellie and Luci have worked together both as colleagues for an aged care organisation, and more recently as consultants within Infection Prevention and Control.


Most recently, they have delivered vast amounts of training and education in infection prevention and control to multiple sectors including:

- primary healthcare teams and clinics

- homeless and domestic violence support services, and

- State hotel quarantine facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic (from November 2021 through to May 2022).

Presented on governance in infection prevention and control, and antimicrobial stewardship, at the 2019 ACIPC Conference in Perth as an invited speaker. She also presented a poster on strategies to increase Influenza Vaccination Uptake Rates in Residential Aged Care.

Multi-conference speaker including:

- Invited speaker to the Aged Care Better Practice Conference in Darwin, presenting on experiences in the ACNAPS pilot program of 2015.

- Speaker at the 2018 ACIPC Conference in Brisbane on her poster presentation "Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use bleach". Ellie's presentation showed the findings of detailed a review undertaken on the cleaning instructions of the reusable-equipment carried in the ambulance, and their implications for out of hospital care settings:
